Namitha Kapoor is a popular South Indian Actress. Namitha was born on May 10, 1981 in Surat, India. She has acted in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi films. Namita became famous after the Tamil film Engal Anna opposite Vijayakanth. She starred in the song "Arjuna Arjuna" along with Sarath Kumar, which ended up as a big hit.
Namita was crowned Miss Surat in 1998 and came fourth in the Femina Miss India Contest in 2001 along with Trisha Krishnan and Celina Jaitley, who was crowned Miss India Universe. She has also appeared in an English film named Maya directed by Eric Manning.
